Fall Festival at Lavender Waves Farm: October 24–25 in South Kingstown, RI
Updated: Oct 2
Looking for things to do in Rhode Island this October? Come spend a fall weekend with us at Lavender Waves Farm in South Kingstown. Our Fall Festival runs Saturday and Sunday, October 24–25, from 10 AM to 5 PM both days. Admission is $8. Costumes encouraged — kids and adults alike!
Meet the camels
The stars of the farm: our camels. There are 3 out of the 5 privately held camels in Rhode Island, and they all live right here. Plenty of our visitors come just to meet them — and at the Fall Festival, you'll get your chance up close. Our alpacas and llamas will be out and about too.
Kids' activities
We're planning a children's craft table where kids can decorate their own witch hats to take home — a perfect Halloween keepsake. (Fair warning: the grown-ups usually end up making one too.)
Spooky season at the farm
The farm gets dressed up for Halloween — giant spiders, witches, skeletons, and spooky surprises around every corner. It makes a pretty great backdrop for those costume photos.
Artisan marketplace
Browse our artisan marketplace with local vendors and handmade goods — a great place to get a head start on holiday shopping while supporting Rhode Island makers.
Stock up on lavender
Stop by the farm shop for what we grow and make right here: lavender bundles, loose buds, essential oils, and our line of hydrosol products distilled on the farm. Our candles are a crowd favorite too. They all make great gifts — and almost everything is grown and made on-site (our candles come from Coventry Candle).
